Injector startup is ongoing. SPEAR tunnel permitted access ends on 9/18.
Beam Lines and Development
Beam Line Systems Report
The beamline 10-2 M0 mirror was removed from the beamline and is being evaluated for redesign.
The beamline 7-3 hutch extension construction is nearly complete.
6 booster vacuum chambers and 6 booster ion pumps were replaced during this summer downtime.
The beamline 13 spherical grating monochromator encoders and grating adjusters were upgraded.
The beamline 4-1 and 4-3 hutch tables were enhanced with motion encoders.
Beam Line Operations Report
Rolling block doors on beam lines 5, 12 13 and 15 closed today.
BL10 rolling block door will close on Monday 09/15. BL2 rolling block door will close on Tuesday 09/16.
