Accelerator Operations
SPEAR returned to user operation as scheduled Wednesday morning after addressing several issues on Monday and Tuesday. These included SPEAR klystron LCW leak, BL11 BSOIC, SPEAR kicker K1, unstable linac energy, etc. AP program was partially impacted. Tunnel access was taken on Thursday to address a noisy BPM (14G-1). User program will continue until PAMM on Jan 26.
Beam Lines and Development
Beam Line Systems Report
Phase 3 of the BL8-1 removal project is underway, and the girder has been sectioned for removal.
The transfer of network connections to the new fiber optics lines installed around the LSCC construction site is complete.
The B730 pit area is being cleaned out to allow further storage of experimental equipment.
