USAXS Tab

This tab is used with the Bonse-Hart setup.

There are three sub-tabs (1) within the tab. The "Definition" sub-tab is for setting the experimental parameters; the "Graph" sub-tab is for displaying the intensity vs motor position; and the "Log" sub-tab lists the intensity and motor position values. The "Definition" sub-tab is the default.

The user use the Motor Control panel (2) to position the sample.

The general parameters for the experiments, such as the detector, scan motor, file name and directory, etc., are specified in the top (3) of the scan setup panel. The parameters specific to the sample is given in the middle (4) of the scan setup panel. "Al_1" to "Al_4" are filters for use to attenuate the beam.

Once all the parameters are set, the user clicks on the "Scan" button of the motor control panel (4) to start scan. Then the user can monitor the progress in either the "Graph" or the "Log" sub-tab.
