Biological Small-Angle X-ray Scattering at the Stanford Synchrotron Radiation Lightsource

The Biological Small-Angle X-ray Scattering  (BioSAXS) Group is part of the Structural Molecular Biology Program at the Stanford Synchrotron Radiation Lightsource. It operates the small-angle x-ray scattering facility BL4-2 on the high-brilliance SPEAR3 synchrotron radiation X-ray source and provides expert scientific and technical support for visiting and remote researchers.  The BioSAXS group has developed and implemented cutting edge instrumentation and novel data collection and processing methods that have led to significant scientific discoveries and advances in the application of SAXS to research in structural biology and biophysics relevant to Health and Bio-energy
