W/B4C Multilayers

We have recently switched to W/B4C, which has improved properties over Mo/B4C.

of the collagen fiber diffraction pattern obtained with beam from the Mo/B4C multilayers
The broadening of the diffraction peaks from dried collagen fiber due to the increased energy bandpass is insignificant, assuring high beam quality with the multilayer monochromator. We typically obtain 20-30 times higher flux with the multilayer monochromator.
