Shipping to the Stanford-SLAC CryoEM Facilities

Please complete this web form on the day you are placing your shipment in transit. This form will notify facility staff of your incoming shipment via an automated email and generate two documents in a single PDF:

  1. A label for your shipment to SLAC, and
  2. A return shipping request form.

Please coordinate with your Microscope Support Contact if you would like your samples or specimens to be stored at our facility. A return shipping request form must accompany all incoming shipments.

  • Please note that SLAC does not accept deliveries on weekends or holidays.
    • Plan your shipment accordingly.
  • Fill out the form below to obtain the required shipping label and return shipping form.
    • These must be attached to your sample box/dewar.
    • If applicable, remove all old shipping labels from your sample box/dewar.
  • All sample dewars and boxes will be inspected for integrity upon arrival.
  • Specimen grids can be sent back in the original shipping dewar after measurement.
    • Coordinate this with your Microscope Support Contact.
