Lodging

We have reserved a block of rooms at the SLAC Guest House for our Users' Meeting participants. The rate for a single room with a full size bed is $50 per night; a single room with a queen size bed is $65 per night. A double room with two full size beds is $80 per night. Each room includes cable TV, high-speed ethernet outlets connected to SLAC's network, telephone, coffee maker, desk, wardrobe, air-conditioning and a private bathroom. Mini-refrigerators, microwaves, hair dryers, roll-a-way beds, etc., are also available upon request. Other amenities include: 24-hour reception desk, gift shop, exercise room, laundry facilities, daily housekeeping services, lounge with large screen TV, spacious lobby and kitchenette.

Directions

Site Information

Everyone entering the SLAC site must show photo identification at the main gate (e.g., drivers' license, passport, DOE ID). Please have your ID ready as you approach the gate to facilitate rapid access.

Attendees can pick up registration materials for the SSRL Users' Meeting outside by the walk-up window in the picnic area adjacent to the parking lot. Formal presentations will be made in the Panofsky Auditorium. Vendors will be exhibiting in the auditorium foyer, breezeway and along the green (grassy area and walkway approaching the auditorium). The poster session and meals will be held in a tent on the green. Parking may be limited due to construction of the SLAC Guest House, so attendees are encouraged to arrive early. See site map:
