Tune "Corelli's Gavot"

 A1      1-2 Half right hand turn your neighbour
         3-4 Circle left half way around without hands.
         5-8 "Front to back". (The man moves forward to do a back to back
              right shoulder. The lady moves backward to pass left shoulder 
              with her partner, moves behind her partner, and then returns to 
              place)

 A2      1-2 Half right hand turn your neighbour
         3-4 Circle left half way around without hands.
         5-8 "Back to front". (The lady moves forward to do a back to back
              right shoulder. The man moves backward to pass left shoulder 
              with his partner, moves behind his partner, and then returns 
              to place)

 B1      1-4  The first couple do a left hand star with the second couple
              above them.
         5-6  The first couple do a half a right hand star with their
              original second couple
         7-8  Everybody turns single to the left

 B2      1-4  Ladies cross right and men cross left shoulders.
         5-6  Everybody set to your partner
         7-8  The first couple cast and the second couple move up


This dance was written by John Pike for his wife Ann after a dancing weekend
called by Charles Bolton at Symonds Yat in the Wye valley. The dance does not
have its own tune but fits well to Corelli's Trio Sonata Opus 5 of 1700. This
tune is associated with the dance Corelli's Gavot which was researched by Ken
Sheffield and published in From Two Barns.
