BALANCE AND WHEEL TO OPPOSITE SIDE A: 1: Waltz balance forward (outside foot, close with inside foot, rise/sink) Joined hands are swung forward far enough to turn partners slightly away from each other 2: Waltz balance backward, starting inside foot; swinging hoined hands back turns partners toward each other somewhat. 3-4: Right hand star (handshake star, women w/ women, men w/ men) halfway. (Needn't clasp, but must at least touch right hands.) 5-8: As in 1-4, including 1/2RH* to original place. CIRCLE OPPOSITE COUPLE AND PROGRESS WITH OPPOSITE. B 1-8: Partners close waltz around CCW around opposite couple, circling them once and returning to own position; open up facing in. 9-16: Take closed position with opposite (new partner); waltz CCW halfway around the other couple and open up facing a new couple in the direction the man was originally facing (with your back to your original partner.) ------------------------------------------------
