four-bar sequence, repeats indefinitely.

 1: (Closed position, remember); travels in LOD.
    First foot goes sideways in line of direction (1)
    close second foot (2)
    First foot sideways again (3)
    close but don't change weight (4)

 2: Same thing on other foot; reverse LOD.

3-4: Turning two-steps (or step-hop, step-hop, step-hop, step-hop)
     turning CW, progressing in LOD.

SONOMA SCHOTTISCHE
"Rainbow Schottische"
Reminiscent of the old Five-Step Schottische, but also looks to me like
Yale position.


  1: side on first foot (1), close (2), side (3), close (and), side (4).
  2: The woman changes her position, moving slightly to man's right, looking
     over man's right shoulder.  With the woman moving forward and the man
     backward, he steps backward with right foot (1), backward with left (2), 
     backward with right (3), backward closing left to fith (and), backward
     with right (4)
3-4: Woman adjusts to face partner and they take four turning two steps in 
     line of direction, man starting left.

NAPA COUNTY SCHOTTISCHE
Might be more modern, man backing lady.
Any old-time schottische. 

    1: On first foot, side (1), close (2), side (3), close (4).
    2: The woman moves slightly to man's right, looking over his right
       shoulder.  She goes back, he goes forward, still on first foot,
       for four walking steps.
  3-4: Four turning two-steps, either direction, left foot for man.

VARIATION: Measure 2 is in open position, both walk forward.
