Original text: Dancers form two lines--ladies on the right, gentlemen on the left. Top lady and second gentleman set a Polka step, and cross into each other's places; second lady and top gentleman repeat same to places. The two couples polka down the middle and back again. Same repeated till bottom couple are at top, and so on at pleasure.
