longways triple minor, proper
16-bar hornpipe, 32-bar reel or jig.

1st and 2d couples balance, swing partners, both couples down the centre, back,
1st couple cast off, cross right hands with 2d couple, left hands back, right
and left with 3d couple.

A1: 1-4: 1s and 2s balance 
    5-8: and partners turn two hands once round  

A2: 1-8: top two couples down the centre 
         (let's say four-in-line, 1s in the middle, turn alone, 
         come back, assisted cast.)

B1: 1-8: 1s & 2s, right hand star and left hands back.

B2: 1-8: 1s & 3s, four changes of rights and lefts.
