The Fireman's Dance

Formation: Four Facing Four; Longways (Double Contra/Mescolanza) 
or Double Sicilian (Circle Quadrille) 


In each minor set define the two couples nearest the middle (of the circle)
as "There" and the two couples on the outside of the circle as "Here". 

Define "Inside" to mean take two hands and gallop inside the other dancers, and
"Outside" to mean slip/walk individually outside the other dancers. 

A1: Outside Here & Inside There: 
    The two couples nearest the centre gallop out & back WHILE 
    the other two couples dance inwards in single file, turn alone, and dance 
    back

A2: Inside Here & Outside There: Repeat with reversed roles
B1: Ladies' Chain Here, Right & Left There: 
    Outside couples: Ladies' Chain x2 
    WHILE Inside couples: Four Changes of a Circular Hey (or R&LT over and
    back)

B2:  Right & Left Here, Ladies' Chain There: Repeat with reversed roles
C1: Lines of Four Go Forward & Back, shouting, "Fire! Fire! Fire! Fire!" 
    and Pass Through to meet the next set
