A1: 1-8: SECOND gentleman Cross over and chase the first lady down the outside,
         back--
A2: 1-8: FIRST gentleman cross over and follow the second lady down the outside,
         back--

B1: 1-4: First four down the centre [APW: as couples, in order], 
    5-8: back and cast off-- (progressed)

B2: 1-4: half promenade across
    5-8: half right and left.

(Alan thinks that the lady just takes a normal down-the-outside and back
course, while the man bails early on the 'back' to finish at home.  Also,
the path is, um, somewhat optional.)
