The first couple down the outside and back, down the middle, (swing at the
bottom) up the middle again the lady on the gentlemen's side, and cast off--all
ladies chain, the first couple balance and swing to places.

A1: 1-8: 1s down the outside and back
A2: 1-2: 1s down the middle
    3-4: turn as a couple and face up
    5-6: 1s up the middle
    7-8: and cast off to progressed place improper.

B1: 1-8: Ladies chain over and back
B2: 1-8: 1s balance and swing, finishing proper

NOTE: "Balance and swing" probably means 1-4: balance, 5-8: two-hand-turn.
