I wrote a waltz contra this summer, as a tribute to Tulsa, OK caller and
dance organizer Wesley Brown, who died in July. It's very easy, just make
sure the dancers get halfway around to the beat.

An Open Ladies' Chain is: Ladies Pull by Right, Allemande Left the Man you
meet, i.e. not a Courtesy Turn.  I understand that this was an earlier form
of Ladies' Chain, perhaps because ladies' dresses were too wide for you to
get close to them!

I like the Hey with hands for this dance - and there is plenty of time so
encourage people to make nice long, wide chains and heys - fingertip holds
for the Allemandes so they can turn with grace and style.

I change the last part of B2 to "waltz right to a new couple" because that
is the direction you would waltz in if you were doing a couple waltz.
