Why write a dance to Jeremiah Clarke's Trumpet Voluntary? It has already
been done!  The Temple, published in 'The Dancing Master Vol I, 11th edn,
1701 (-1728)' is set to that tune.  My interpretation is as follows (NB:
AABAC format):

A1	1-8	Ones ½ figure down and turn (proper)
A2	1-8	Twos ½ figure up and turn (proper)
B1	1-4	1st corners turn
B2	5-8   2nd corners turn
A3	1-8	Ones cross over and ½ figure up
C1	1-2	Twos set forward up and down
C1	3-4	Twos cast off 
C1	5-6	Ones set forward up and down
C1	7-8	Ones cast off

    Well, someone should write the dance, then they could play it as the
