SWIRL OF THE SEA Square waltz mixer, 32-bars Carolyn & Maurice Dunnett, ED&S, Autumn 2002 Written for Sheebeg and Sheemore; Allison Thompson recommends Bridget Cruise (3d air) and Kitty Magennis; those are 16-bar waltzes and take twice through per round. NIB, except for Sheebeg and Sheemore. A1 1-4: Corners turn by the left hand and hold on. 5-8: Corners balance forward and back; all step right and honor. A2: 1-4: Partners turn by the right hand and hold on. 5-8: Partners balance forward and back; all step left and honor. B1: 1-8: Partners face; grand right and left all around the ring, one waltz step per hand. B2: 1-8: Women join hands for right-hand star. Move forward one place (2 waltz steps); left hand to the next man (who takes it in his right so they're facing the same direction); star keeps moving to the _woman's_ home plce; this is her new partner. NOTE: The balance work best if corners balance forward right, back left, and vice versa for partner. Balance first on the foot you will honor on.
