David Newitt sez: The secret on the chorus: The couples as they lead through
should be in front of their corners, but then must swing slightly wide as they
come around the outside so the corner can then be in front of them for their
own lead through. e.g. on the 1st chorus M1 is in front of W2 as he starts his
lead through (bar 5), but lets her get in front as he finishes the lead around
(bar 8). This little bit of phrasing makes all the difference between a
scramble and a great figure. It is really only critical for the men, as the
couple the women cast around is just going into another turn in the next
phrase.
