---- But I think this interpretation is incorrect, although fine for a
three-couple set.

Anyway, my current hypothesis, very possibly totally wrong, is that "Maid with
a Bosom of Snow" is either a 16 or 24 bar single-progression triple minor and
one or both of the repeat symbols is an error. If you have no repeat of the A,
it starts with 1s down the middle below the 3s, cast back to second place. 8
bar B: Circle L (only, or circle L H, R H)); "quick" rights and lefts (the
brisk interlocking corner crosses that Wilson says are what rights and lefts
properly are and that we think are rights and lefts are chaine anglaise);
16-bar B: 1s and 3s circle L and & R, 2s and 1s do four changes of rights and
lefts
