Tune is a cheerful, somewhat airy jig; might want to use for something else

Orig text: The first Man cast off & turn the 3d. Wo. and stand in the 2d.
Man place . The first Wo. does the same to the 3d. Man & stand in the 2d.
Wo.s place : Hand round all six .. Right Hand and Left at Top :

Problem:Tune as given is 16 bars, no repeats and therefore not 100% clear how
figures fit.

Assuming each strain is 8 bars and each is repeated; easy fit.

A1: 1-4 M1 expansive cast to second place, M2 moving up
    5-8 M1 & W3 turn two hands, M1 finishing in M2's place

A2: Same with W1 and M3.

B1: Circle 6 L and back to the right.

B2: Top 2 couples 4 changes of rights and lefts.

But assuming it mostly means what it says (and it could well; the A part 
has a a clear new start at bar 5 and 5-8 echo but are not quite the same
as bar 1-4; different story on Bar 8.


Tune Bars (no strains)
  1-4 M1 tightish cast through second place into two-hand turn 1x with W3,
      finish M1 in second place, W3 at home.
  5-8 W1 the same with M3.

 9-12 Circle six left once round (preferably slipping)

13-16 2s and 1s brisk circular hey, 2 steps per side (like Collier's
      daughter)


Note: if the cast and turn timing is too hard #1 can just go through the set
      to turn corner


DUPLE MINOR VERSION

  1-4  M1 cast down outside (or cut diagonally through middle), M2 moving up
      into two hand turn with W2; finish in M2 place .
  5-8  W1 the same with [hmm, turn M2 in M1s place, or turn partner?]

 9-12  circle 4 1x, preferably slipping

13-16 quick rights and lefts, eg "swap diagonals"
      2nd corners change left shoulder, 1st corners right shoulder
      repeat to progressed place
         OR
      4 changes circular hey.
