Barnes 3 (p109)

A 1-2 Ones cross by the right and cast down once place (twos move up).
  3-4 All Partners right-hand turn once around.  
  5-7 All six single-file circle  left halfway.
    8 Turn single left. End in the order 3, 1, 2 with ones proper and ends improper.

B 1-2 Ones (middles) left-hand turn once around and ease out to 
  3-6 and pass neighbor by the left for
      heys-for-three along the sides of the set.
      At the last pass ones are across from each other again, in the middle.
  7-8 Partners two-hand turn to end proper (ones three-quarters, ends halfway).

C 1-2 Lines balance back (step, step, close).
      Come forward and flip passing by the right around partner
      as if adroitly avoiding a tree.
  3-4 Lines balance back. Pass through (partners pass by the right, no flip). 1s Curve right.
  5-8 Ones three-hand star right with the ends.
      Ones release early (pretty much as soon as they see partner coming around again)
      and pass by the right to end proper in middle place.

Dance and tune written to commemorate the pine tree in the main path at Pinewoods Camp
where, on dark nights, dancers would occasionally collide with the tree. The path has now been
diverted to bypass the tree.
