Three-couple sets (could be triple-minor)

1-4:  1s pull by and cst to middle place, all face partner.
      ("pull by" was "turn 1.5")
5-8:  In lines of three go f&b ("forward six and six fall back")

9-12: 1s only right-hand-turn to own side (1.5)
13-16: Lines F&B

17-20: 1s swing partner (how defined?) in place, open into

21-24: 1s and 2s above them, 4 changes r&l; 1s down the outside as 3s move up;
       numbers change.

(Or skip 17-20 and make 8bar 4&l).

I'd like to use a simplified version of Thomas Hillgrove's "Moneymusk" (1863) -
done as a 3 couple set for better control:

First couple give the right hand, and swing once and a half round **
Then go below one couple (into second place. Second Couple moving up)

Forward and back six.

First couple give the right hand to partner, and swing once around (ending
proper and progressed)

Forward and back six;

First Couple swing in place (8 count Swing)

First and Second Couple: Right and left 

(With first couple ending by casting into 3rd place so that the dance can
progress)

**Since this opening 1 1/2 turn seems to be the stumbling block for  so many beginners, I wonder if this figure could simply be a cross (passing by right hand) and cast into second place?
