"Admiral George, Lord Anson (1697-1762), probably the greatest naval hero ever, sailed
around the world in wartie, 1740-1744, with incredible hardshiops and adventure,
defeated the French invasion of America in 1747, and, while serving as head of the navy, 
invented naval uniforms, found the best cure for scurvy (limes, hence the British are called Limeys),
and greatly reformed the Navy.
