KATE'S HORNPIPE

16-bar hornpipe ("Redesdale Hornpipe")
longways duple minor proper
(swagger and/or double-step throughout)

A1:  1st man and 2nd woman lead down the middle together (2nd man moving
     up to 1st place), turn as a couple and come back to 
     second place improper facing up while their partners face down.

A2:  Partners take two hands (crossed is good); balance r-l-r-h, l-r-l-h,
     r-l-r-h, l-r-l-h  (small steps!), then continue in the leftward 
     direction for a two-hand turn with doublesteps, opening up facing into
     the set with woman on the right.

B1:  North country ladies chain: 4 beats to cross by the right, 4 beats to 
     turn under the man's raised left hand, change hands, come back to his
     right, and repeat to home; finish ready to go into ballroom position.

B2:  Swing and change; it's about one and three quarters to new place.
