Circle of pairs - gender not important, could be larks and ravens.

ELEMENTARY VERSION

Hands in the circle.

A:  Repeated step is big step left and close, repeat, small step right and close, repeat.  (All that four times)

Partners face


B:  Repeated figure is, one person, looking at partne stamps right foot twice, step right and close once; turn single over left
shoulder returning to place.
     Left person does the thing
     Right person does the thing
     Left person does the thing
     Right person does the thing

Reform circle, repeat all.  (Three times through the cycle, maybe?)


"MATERNELLE" VERSION - same tune but slower.

A: When traveling in circle, swing arms forward on the 1, back to pointing on the floor on the 2.
Repeated figure is 2x(4x big left and close, 4 small right and close)

B: Drop hands, face in.  Left person stamps right three times, pause, turn single left back to place.
   Right person repeats.
   Left repeats.
   Right repeats.
