Block of 8 couples

A (16)  Starting with opposite right, square thru two hands
    Half hey along the line middles starting right shoulder
    In 4's circle right half way, fall back in original line
    Set and turn single

B (16)  Starting with opposite left, square thru two hands
    Half hey along the line middles starting left shoulder
    In 4's circle left half way, fall back in original line
    Set and turn single - all home

C (16)  "The Dutch Crossing" - dancers on the diagonals will dance reels of 
four using a four hand star for each change and setting at the corners before 
rejoining the hey, other are dancing a grand right and left once round Chain 
thru the stars!).  Starts with a right hand star with opposite couples

D (16) Turn partners two hands once round
    Back to back with partner
    Circle four five places
    Back to back opposite and stay facing

Part A & B are danced as line of two couples facing a line of two couples
Part C involves all eight couples
Part D involves only you and the opposite couple

Each couple and their opposite couple occupy one corner of the big set and 
always start & finish in that position.  Part D will move each couple clockwise 
one place in their foursome so they will move from a N/S orientation to an E/W 
orientation that means they will have different neighbouring couples for the 
hey. 

There is an "americanised" version by Joseph Pimental which might be easier 
(only slightly!)

I spent last weekend calling in Denmark and, as always at this Festival, 
called Dutch Crossing.
