(Not her hands) First Sixth (Promenade down LOD) Walking: diagonally fwd left, diagonally fwd right, diagonally fwd left, diagonally fwd right, left, (SSSS) Diagonal Chassé towards the centre swaying left (QQS) Diagonal Chassé towards the wall swaying right.(QQS) Second Sixth (Promenade and turn and cross down LOD and ALOD) Walking fwd left, right and pivot on right via the wall and around to face ALOD (SS) now Backing the LOD step over the right foot with the left, then point right foot forward. (Pivot via wall) Third Sixth (Times Circle) Diagonally fwd on left heel, close right toe to left heel.(QQ) Repeat seven more times completing a full circle back to the LOD (16 quick steps in all) Fourth Sixth (Promenade down LOD and ALOD) Fwd left, Fwd right toe pointing right and dipping slightly through the knee Place left heel down LOD just ahead of right foot (keep toe up) Close right foot to third position rear Place left toe beside left heel, keeping left heel raised. How to dance the Old Time Waltz Turn Men and women do exactly the same steps but at opposite times The turn has two parts "rotary" and "progressive" Starting and finish facing or backing diagonally to the centre. Rotary (The person backing diagonally to the centre) Left foot side and across the LOD, place the right toe behind your left heel, and pivot right on the toes of both feet turning 180 degrees to face diagonally to the centre, Progressive (The person facing diagonally to the centre) Step forward on right foot between your partners feet. Move down LOD turning right with a side step, close feet changing weight and finish backing diagonally to the centre.
