The Wizard's Walk By Ruth Ungar Improper contra A1: Circle left half way; balance in the ring repeat to get home A2: In your rings of four, starting on the side: grand chain (r&l) 5 places (or you could say square thru 5) partner Left shoulder i.e. chain right round, then one more chain to progressed place,then left shoulder. OR OR OR A2: Neighbors start a square thru 4 (r&l); neighbors right shoulder around once and a half (to new place), then face partner. ------------ B1: Partners balance and swing, ending facing away from the couple you have been dancing with B2: WIZARD'S WALK: 1s separate and go down outside (new) 2s, meet and continue down to split next 2s; WHILE 2s come up the middle inside (new) 1s, split and continue up the outside past more 1s 1s now separate and BACK UP outside those 2s WHILE 2s meet and BACK DOWN inside 1s meet and back through previous 2s WHILE 2s split and back past previous 1s, ready to form the circle to start the dance again Notes ------ - Originally 2s should oscillated in and out in place, but the commonly done variation here has eveybody moving.
