Monadnock Reel:  Page did write that.  The original title was MacArthur's Reel, but the boys from around Keene, NH didn't like Gen MacArthur, so Ralph renamed the dance Monadnock after the 3000 plus foot mountain that rises in the middle of the region.

Page did record the dance on the Folk Dancer Michael Herman series to the chune of Glise a Sherbrooke, with and without calls, Dick Richardson etc.  It sold over a million copies.

A1:  Active cpls balance partner, dosido, alemande left with the one below
A2:  Actives balance and swing partner
B1: Down the center and back to cast off
B2: Ladies chain 

The version I do sometimes, on B1 I have the actives swing the one below instead of going down the middle.
