Greenleaf Twirl

Formation:  Contra, duple minor, improper
Tunes:  Smooth jigs or reels

A1:  (8) Neighbor Swing;    
     (4) Long lines forward
     (4) Gents pull partner back (give and take into) and 
         roll her away to the right

A2:  (8) Gents allemande left twice;     
     (8) Partner swing
B1:  (16) Gents start left shoulder hey for four, 
          ladies richochet/push back second time they meet
          [actives progressed, all across from partner]

B2:  (8) Actives (only) Mad Robin up (or Sashay Round) through 
         original neighbors
     (8) With new neighbors, do si do 
        (optional to raise arms over head like a ballerina while 
        twirling around in the do si do - the Greenleaf Twirl!!!!)

NOTES:

A1 - The Gents pulling the lady back during the forward and back could also be
     taught and/or called as a Give and Take

B1 - The single ricochet gets the ladies get back across the set 
     for the Mad Robin.  If they push back at the right angle, 
     it creates a very nice flow from the hey into the Mad Robin

This dance was written on the way home from Pinewoods E & A week.  Lisa
Greenleaf was the lead contra caller that week and was spotted performing the
above twirl while dancing do si dos.  This caught on and others were soon
following her lead.  Who wouldn't want to follow Lisa's lead?!  8-)
