Ellerbe's Ride  (2015)

Written in honor of Ellerbe Cole, a pillar of the Maine contra community who died in
2015. This is part of a suite of three dances I wrote, the others being "Ellerbe's 34
Pages" and "Summer of Ellerbe." A1 I first encountered in "The Boys from Urbana" by
John Coffman, but have since seen in many other dances.
