David,
I penned a dance with Petronella twirls that I felt went well to an oldtime
Appalachian banjo tune called Jaybird. When I saw Salmonella I realized that
the two could be medleyed. Whereas Salmonella has a partner swing, mine has
a neighbor swing. My dance description follows.

Jaybird (to tune) Mark Goodwin. 9/4/2004 (named for an Old-time Appalachian
banjo tune)

Duple improper contra n8 (or maybe use June Apple, Liberty, or
Soldier's Joy)

A1 Neighbor DSD (8)

            Neighbor swing (8)

A2 Circle L

            Ladies chain across (to partner)

B1 Circle balance & twirl R (4,4)

Circle balance & twirl R (4,4)

B2 Circle balance & twirl R (4,4)

Circle balance & Partners California Twirl * (4,4)
