Here's a dance I wrote that does not follow through on the expectations of
experienced dancers, yet is very danceable and flowing once you figure out
to dance the figure as written and not the figure you thought it was going
to be. And the balances are at the second half of the phrases in A2. (This
is where the fun is -- how or whether to alert them to these features)

The title comes from the Alamo ring formation in squares that often leads to
half allemandes.

Beginners should be fine, unless they constitute too high a percentage of
the crowd. I called this at a workshop on Saturday in Columbia MO and one
dancer reported a look of glee on faces as people "got" it. I'd be
interested in hearing feedback from your experience.
