Longways for Twelve Dancers - from the calling of Dave Brainbridge A1: Top six and bottom six: circle 6-hands round and back (slip or double step) A2: Top six and bottom six: R-hands across and L-hands back (double step) B1: 1s take 2-hands with partner and galop (slip) down to the bottom join hands with 6s and all galop (slip) up to the top* B2: 6s, 1s, and 2s galop (slip) to the bottom 5s, 6s, 1s, and 2s galop (slip) to the top C1: 5s, 6s, 1s, 2s, and 3s galop (slip) to the bottom 4s, 5s, 6s, 1s, 2s, and 3s (whole set) galop (slip) to the top C2: 1s (now in middle) crossed hand swing to the bottom, other partners swing once 1s are out of the way * 6s and 1s join up to form a 'circle' of four. A new couple is added each time to make a larger circle/group which galops (slips) below or above the remaining standing dancers.
