Thanks! -- Alan Hi Alan - Scatter Promenade - 32 bar jigs/reels/brisk polkas, all work Circles of two couple - anywhere in the room A1 - Join hands - circle Lt and Rt. A2 Star - right hand - back with left hand B1 Swing your opposite B2 - Keep the one you swung - promenade anywhere, any direction, until caller says - 'find a new couple' Need to tell people that if they can't find another couple, wave an arm - 'cause there's got to be another couple somewhere having the same problem! (unless they've gone and sat down!) Columnztanz - 32 bar jigs/reels/brisk polkas Same formation as above A1 - Clap your hands 4 times - (exaggerated up and down - as if you had two large cymbals) Stamp 4 times - Rt hand star. A2 Repeat clapping/stamping then Lt hand star B1 Ladies chain - good chance to teach it (or simple version BB opposite, BB partner) B2 Take partner and dance on anywhere - until caller says' find a new couple' Quite fun to explain the 'waving an arm in the air if can't find another couple' - and pointing out that at that point everyone else will be doing the 4 claps - but you'll find them eventually!
