Indeed there were both errors and omissions in my earlier notation of the hand jive!

Four couple longways set
 
A1: Hand jive (see below)
A2: RHS, LHS
B1: First couple lead down and back
B2: Half pousette and swing
 
Hand Jive:
Couples face each other
Double circle clockwise motion with right hand
Clap own hands three times
Double circle anti-clockwise with left hand
Clap own hands three times
Single circle clockwise motion with right hand
Partners clap right hands across once
Single circle anti-clockwise motion with left hand
Partners clap left hands across once
Double circle with both hands
Partners clap both hands across three times

Again E&OE but this one should be better!
 
If you have (or have access to) the Albion Dance Band's album 'The Prospect Before Us' (Harvest, 1976 and reissued on CD) you will be able to hear Eddie Upton call it to the tune of 'Merry Sherwood Rangers' and hopefully the hand jive notation will make sense!
