THE DUCK DANCE
(From "Step Lively 2"; Metis call it their national dance because it includes
the infinity symbol, as seen on their flag.)

3-couple longways

A1: Up a double and back; repeat
A2: Top couple cast out, others following, to reform the set.
B1: Duck and Dive
    (1s turn back, take new inside hands, and arch; 2s dive.
    Whoevers in the middle always dives, whoever's on the end always
    arches.)  Take two full tours.

B2: Figure eights.  Couples take promenade position and cast left to begin 
    a big figure eight by passing diagonally through the other two couples,
    who follow and alternatly cross through the centre of the figure.
    (In other words, Morris-style hey for three for couples.)
    After twice through, top couple passes diagonally between the other 
    two couples, who don't follow; the 2s become the new top couple.
