DOUBLE NINEPIN REEL
(5-couple square; regular square with 5 in the center.)
Make sure all the  couples  know which number they are.
Might work with old-timey tunes, not too phrased, or possibly 10x 32-bar reels.
 
A1: Couple 5 swings - then faces any head couple and does a dip and dive with  
    the heads
 
A2: Couple 5 swings - then faces any side couple and does a dip and dive with  
    the sides
 
B1: Couple 5 swings - then faces the other head couple and does a dip and dive  
    with the heads
 
B2: Couple 5 swings - then faces the other side couple and does a dip and dive  
    with the sides

A1: Couple 5 swings while other 8 circle left.  Collapse circle to  center to 
    force couple to stop swinging

A2: Let couple 5 join circle and circle 10

B1: Allemande left corner - grand R&L (5 hands to partner) promenade.

B2: Couple 1 promenades to center and swings.  All others stop anywhere to  
    form new square.  Couples keep original number regardless of position in  
    square.

Repeat for couples 1,2,3,4.
