What is wrong with folding one's arms to do a do-si-do? Nothing! Hi Bob, Better that the swing do si do that we've seen in MWSD. Here is a nice figure with a weathervane I'll share with you and others... Maybe I've given it to you before. I know I gave it to Bob Howell. Couples facing couples around the hall working together. I use Southerners Plus Two Play Ralph Page..I think it's called Jack's Life or Maple Leaf Jig. Bushwhacker (Australian Bush Dance by Dick Leger) Circle left and Circle right (16) Inside couple split the outside couple (and back to place) (8) Outside couple split the inside couple and back to place (8) Weathervane (2 men step fwd with partner and hook left elbows and weathervane around each other, release and move to new couple (16) Ladies chain over and back. (16) _________________________________________________________ ****Little help with Inside coupe split... The 2 people on the inside of the circle go between, separate around the outside people and back to place..(Actually their Partners) Outside split the inside and go between, separate and around the inside people and back where they started.. This was a dance I helped Dick get the correct timing with, for his daughter in Australia. A dance she was teaching..I know I've seen it other ways but the timing was off. So Dick perfected it. He let me name it.. :-) You have probably seen this one done at my dances, I use it many times.. Lori Morin > > > > > > The J.
