Interpreted by Ken Sheffield from Walsh, 1718 (from From Two Barns v3)
4-couple longways set, AABBx4.  
(Four steps to the bar)

A1:  1-2: 1s cross down between the 2s, passing right shoulders
          (2s remain in place), and M1 curves around to turn W2 by the
          left (inside) hand once around while W1 curves around to turn 
          M2 by the right (inside) hand.

     3-4: 1s cross down between the 3s and 1s turn the 3s by the inside
          hand once around;

     5-6: 1s cross down between the 4s, and 1s turn the 4s by the inside
          hand once round;

     7-8: 1s cross over the 4s and cast (M1 to right and W1 left) up the 
          outside of the set to original position.

A2:  1-8: The 4s repeat this figure from the foot of the set (crossing up
          between 3s and curving around to turn them by the inside hand,
          etc.)  all ending in original position.

B1:  1-4: 1s and 2s at the top and 3s and 4s at the bottom, dance double 
          figures of eight, thus:
            M1 gives right hand to his partner as she crosses down in
            front of him (2s begin by casting up), while M4 gives left
            hand to W4 as she crosses up (3s begin by casting down).

            End in facing lines of four, thus:

                      M2  M1  W1   W2
   
                      M3  M4  W4   W3

       5: M1 and W4 cross over. (first corners of middle circle)

       6: W1 and M4 cross over. (first corners of middle circle)

     7-8: 2s cast to the top and 3s cast to the bottom WHILE
          1s and 4 turn partners halfway to the proper side of the dance.
          End with set in in longways formation 2s-4s-1s-3s.

B2:  1-4: Middles face ends.  Men hey for four WHILE womeh hey for four
          (APW: rsh to start; source doesn't say).
     5-6: Partners set and turn single
     7-8: In fours, circle left (2s and 4s; 1s and 3s.)
          End 2s-4s-1s-3s, all proper.

Repeat three times; finish in original events.
