A Dutch organization called "Volksdansvereniging NVS", informs me that it was actually choreographed by Cor Hogendijk in honor of his friend Arnold van 't Well in 1973 (Published in their book English or Double Dutch vol 1). Music: Festival F-801 Meter: 2/4 Formation: Circle of couples, M on the inside facing out, W on the outside facing partner. Introduction: two chords Bars 1-2: using 4 walking steps, exchange places with partner turning R hands Bars 3-4: using 4 walking steps, exchange places with partner turning L hands Bars 5-6: keep holding L with partner, and join R with corner to form a wavy line (M facing out, W facing in). Balance to the R and L Bars 7-8: exchange places with corner, M crosses over, W turns under M's R arm (turning CCW) Bars 9-16: repeat bars 1-8, but starting with M facing in. End in original positions Bars 17-20: W stand still, M pass R shoulder with partner and dance CW behind her, in front of the next woman and on to face the third. Takes 8 walking steps Bars 21-24: Swing third person, end with M on the inside. Bars 25-28: M stand still, W pass R shoulder with partner (the one you just swung) and dance CCW behind him, in front of the next man and on to face the third.
