Waltz time dance, take up all the space you can and intermingle with other sets 4/30/2019 (while programming Ivanhoe Ball, where I can't use this) Moderate tempo 32-bar dance (the second tune for Waterfall Waltz - Flowers of the Thorn - worked great). Hard if too slow. Tested at Woodshed 2024-12-11 A1: 1-4: First corners right hand turn 1x WHILE second corners orbit CCW halfway 5-8: second corners LH turn 1x WHILE first corners orbit CW halfway (all improper and progressed) A2: Repeat A1 to home B1: 1-4: Gents lead through ladies, cast wide (around partner and gent from next set if there is one) to get home 5-8: ladies the same through gents B2: 1-4: Starting partner, two leisurely changes of rights and lefts 5-8: partner *crossed hand* turn 1.5 (to own side); let go right hand first so that you can pull by left to launch on A1 orbit and turn. Observation: Not as easy as I thought. Through the As everyone walks forward the whole time and not everybody believed that and some tried to turn back. Also strong tendency to trun B1 into a back to back, which it is not. The Bs are straightforward although it was necessary to teach curvy 6-count changes of R&L; some tendency to do crossed-hand turn once rather than 1.5 and end up on wrong side. Cumulative error in the As would leave people out of place for the Bs.
