Slow, dreamy, lyrical.) 10/22/2004 (Second half is "ROZSA") [Produced for "Waltz Macabre", Friday Night Waltz Hallowe'en party in 2004] (A1 & A2 are done with the hands that are usually the "pointy" end down at the sides.) A1: 1-4: Pursuit waltz 5-8: closed waltz A2: 1-4: Open up and waltz step forward 5-8: In this open position, man goes forward to turn couple around, easing out in last bar to finish facing LOD, holding inside hands. ("Ingleside Waltz") B1: 1-3: Starting on outside foot, three walking steps (one per measure) 4: On fourth, turn the inside shoulder toward line of direction, so you end up back to back with partner, arms extended along LOD and RLOD, and join hands. 5-6: In reverse LOD, two chassees (slides), then 7-8: Pivot on leading foot (man's left, women's right) to finish facing each other, ready to take ballroom position. B2: 1-8: Closed waltz. ("Rozsa") A3: partners face, fingertip to fingertip. (Keep movements small and smooth). 1-2: Rock to the man's L woman's R, (LOD) and back. 3-4: Catch hold of the hand you're touching, & put them up in the air. Keeping hold, Woman turns half way round to back on to her partner. Bring the still joined hands down in front of Woman 5-8: 4 small smooth (waltz) steps L (LOD) A4: (Reverses all of this) 1-4: 4 waltz steps right 4-8: Rock right, left, untie. (Finish facing in original position) ( The timing is something like Rock, Rock, Spin and Lock Step 1, 2, 3, and back Back 2, 3, 4 Rock, Rock, untie the lock) B3: (Facing, right hands joined) 1-2: balance forward and back 3-4: change places under joined hands 5-6: (change hands) balance forward and back 7-8: change places under joined hands into ballroom position. B4: (in ballroom position) 1-2: Chassee two steps in LOD 3-4: Chassee two steps the other way 5-8: Waltz round.
