ALL THINGS ARE QUITE SILENT Victor Skowronski, 5/4/2005 longways duple minor Green Barnes Victor sez quarter-note =- 130 but we think we like it 120-122; Key F, Meter 3/4. A 1-4: All circle left. 5-8: First couple turns two hands. 9-12: [1s chase around second lady, lady 1 in lead] First lady leads down between second couple, casts around second lady, and crosses to partner's place. First man follows his partner and ends in her place. [cruising smoothly into] 13-14: All left hand star halfway. 15-16: [Neighbors left shoulder gypsy half way] All change places with neighbor by the left shoulder Women will be on outside, men on the inside. All end unprogressed, but second couple is improper. B 1-8: [ Women continue in while men loop around to] start an open ladies chain by turning by the right halfway. 9-12: All gypsy with partner by the right shoulder. 13-14: Women change places by the left shoulder. 15-16: First man, first woman, and second man lead to progressed place with a counterclockwise open circle. The second woman turns single. ALAN'S NOTES Really nice flow out of the neighbr gypsy into the open chain. Chain to gypsy is awkward for gents unless they anticipate. We tend to rusn the womenB 13-16; maybe make the woman do a hall-in-the-wall cross?
