ECD – The English Country Dance Mailing List

ECD, with members from the US, Canada, Britain, Belgium, the Netherlands, Australia and New Zealand, is a list for the discussion of all aspects, including the aesthetic and the social, of English Country Dance, historical, traditional, and contemporary.

The list was hosted until June 2009 on playford.slac.stanford.edu, and from then to 2020 on the bacds.org server. In 2020 we joined in the CDSS-sponsored effort and became part of the sharedweight.net groups. In 2026 we completed a transition from being hosted on the sharedweight.net server to being hosted as part of sharedweight at groups.io.
