Zhi-Xun Shen Wins DOE Physics Award

A $50K capital equipment fund from DOE Division of Materials Sciences was awarded to Zhi-Xun Shen as the winner of the Outstanding Scientific Accomplishment in the Solid State Physics category in the Department of Energy's 1994 Materials Science Research Competition. The work was entitled "Experimental Determination of the k-Dependent Electronic Structure and Superconducting Gap."
