Axel T. Brunger, Professor of SSRL, Molecular and Cellular Physiology, and Neurology and Neurological Sciences, Stanford University, and an Howard Hughes Medical Institute Investigator, was elected Member of The National Academy of Sciences on May 3, 2005, in recognition of his distinguished and continuing achievements in original research.
