2016 LCLS/SSRL Users’ Meeting

Wednesday, October 5, 2016 - 8:00am to Friday, October 7, 2016 - 5:00pm

Registration is now open for SLAC's LCLS and SSRL Annual Users' Meeting and Workshops, scheduled Oct. 5-7. This year’s event will feature 14 workshops on topics ranging from applying machine learning to LCLS data analysis to how synchrotron X-rays can help accelerate the advancement of electrochemical energy technologies.

The annual event offers a forum for SLAC staff, visiting scientists and prospective users of SSRL and LCLS to gather and discuss scientific opportunities for new and continuing research. There will be facilities updates from the directors, keynote talks, a poster session, award presentations, and a vendor exhibit featuring accelerator and light source-related equipment, supplies and services.

More information on registration, fees and payment options can be found on the Users' Meeting website under registration information. SLAC employees may use their FY17 STAP funds to cover registration fees.
