Stanford University is located about 30 miles south of San Francisco, California, with the nearest local city being Palo Alto.
XAFS13 will begin with registration and a get-together, at the Frances C. Arrillaga Alumni Center, in the late afternoon on Sunday July 9, 2006, and end in the afternoon on Friday July 14, 2006
A tour of SSRL followed by a dinner on Stanford campus is planned for the afternoon/evening of Wednesday, July 12.
